Monoprint ~ Seawash Series
Loving the ocean and its beaches as I do, I often find inspiration there. These SeaWash mono prints are actually prints of a tangle of reeds that was thrown up onto a stretch of South Carolina beach near my home. The reeds are an integral part of the marsh eco-system here, and beautiful in all their many iterations. Here I was fascinated by the overall architecture of the tangle itself and then the delicate and intricate details of the reeds and the relationships formed.
